Enamelling of cooking and heating items
Enamelling culinary products
Since its creation, MVE has specialised in the enamelling of cast iron parts, particularly for the outdoor culinary markets: planchas, barbecues, braziers and interiors: casseroles, woks, cookers, hobs, burner grates, grills.
Thanks to its antibacterial properties, hardness and durability, enamel has been used for over a century to protect and embellish kitchen utensils.
The smooth surface of enamel and its qualities make it the royal coating for family or professional cooking utensils: casseroles, woks, planchas, grills and burner caps...
Cast iron objects commonly enamelled in our workshops:
single or mass production, casseroles, planchas, crepe makers, burner grates, - personal or professional...
Thanks to enamelling, steel or cast iron cookware can go from the freezer to the oven from -50° to +450° without any deterioration.
In the kitchen, enamel is impervious to acid attack from food and detergents. It resists abrasion from vigorous cleaning and dishwashing.
Enamel does not absorb odours and does not support the growth of bacteria and mould.
What's more, enamelled products are easy to maintain and can be used on induction hobs.
Enamelled parts for heating appliances
The Manufacture also enamels heating sets for various manufacturers such as Invicta, the Académie du Feu,...
Enamel's resistance to thermal shock and smoke corrosion makes it the material of choice for protecting and embellishing wood-burning stoves and other furnaces.
